Man I was just looking at a piece of carrot that came with my lunch and my first thought was 'this carrot looks like it's been quater sawn'.   

I don't think it would make a very good sound board though.

We've had that debate with my mother ;) Imported a bunch of rosewood furniture from.. thailand I think. LOTS of B&S in the table top alone
